CSU/UC
UC and CSU eligibilty requirements are reviewed with students and all students are encouraged to complete UC/CSU course requirements. See our Graduation page for a list of courses required for UC/CSU college prep. Starting with the Fall 2012 entering class, UC is requiring that 11 of the 15 required a-g courses be completed by the end of grade 11. Further information can be found at:

SAT/ACT
Students planning to attend a UC are required to take the SAT I or ACT with writing and two subject area SAT tests. Students entering in the fall of 2012 will no longer be required to take the two subject area tests. Students planning to attend a CSU campus or private school may be required to take the SAT I or ACT with writing. Students register on line to take these tests at local testing centers. Check the admissions requirements for the college or university you are applying to.
